One way that hope can be an asset is to use it as a lens with which to examine situations and problems. Using hope as your context can enable teachers and students to look at a problem in its current state, speculate on how the situation might change, and envision the situation as they would like to see it. Approaching problems this way can help answer the question, “How can hope lessons help me work with a problem?” Teachers can use various hope lessons for this purpose.
